What changed in Xpactio, the Attio app for Xero, newest first.

Invoice lines, timeline, repeating invoices, emailIn testing

  • Invoices can carry one Xero line per related line record, with item and account codes per line. Works in Create Xero Invoice, the bulk action and the Create Xero invoice block.
  • An invoice whose line has no description, quantity or unit price is not created; the sync error names the line.
  • Record timelines show Xero events: invoice, quote, purchase order and credit note created; invoice paid or voided. Turn them off in Settings → Advanced.
  • Create Xero repeating invoices for subscriptions from a record or a workflow: frequency, start and end date, due terms, draft or authorised. Counts as one document.
  • “Email invoice from Xero” and the “Email Xero invoice” block send an approved invoice to the customer through Xero, after naming the recipient. Drafts and contacts without an email get a clear message. Emailing is free.

Automatic sync, bulk actions, PDFsIn testing

  • Pro workspaces sync invoices and quotes from Xero every night. Free workspaces sync when someone clicks.
  • Workflow trigger “Xero invoice status changed” (Pro).
  • Workflow step “Wait for Xero invoice payment” (Pro): the workflow continues when the invoice is paid or voided.
  • Bulk actions: create Xero invoices for the selected records, sync selected invoices from Xero.
  • “Attach invoice PDF” saves the Xero invoice PDF to the Attio record.
  • Settings button “Create writeback fields” adds the missing Attio fields.
  • A double click on Create Xero Invoice, Quote or Purchase Order creates one document, not two.
  • If one writeback field fails, the others are still written and the record shows a warning.
  • Invoice and Xero Quote records are titled with the Xero number instead of an ID. Press Run Setup once to add the title field.
  • Edit Invoice in Xero, Void in Xero, Edit Quote and Decline no longer report a failure after Xero accepted the change; only the edited invoice is refreshed.
  • Due Date and Reference in Edit Invoice in Xero are optional.
  • Create Xero Invoice, Quote and Purchase Order no longer appear on Invoices and Xero Quote records.

Invoices tab and page

  • An “Invoices” tab on deals and companies lists their Xero invoices.
  • An “Invoices” page shows outstanding, overdue and paid amounts, and invoiced vs paid by month.

Quote title and summary

  • Xero quote title and summary come from Attio fields.
  • A second one-off charge line on quotes.

Multi-line quotes

  • The Create Xero quote block sends one Xero line per quote line record.
  • Quote sync stops inside a time limit and continues on the next run.

Purchase orders and credit notes

  • Create Xero purchase orders from any Attio record, with their own supplier fields.
  • Create Xero credit notes from a synced invoice; the credit amount is written back to Attio.
  • Branding theme, reference, terms and customer address fields for Xero templates.

Xero quotes

  • Create, edit, decline and convert Xero quotes from Attio records and workflows.
  • A “Xero Quote” object in Attio, synced from Xero.
  • Quotes and invoices share the 10 free documents a month.

Workflow blocks

  • Create, update, void and sync Xero invoices as Attio workflow blocks.
  • Pro: Xero tells Xpactio when an invoice changes, and Attio updates within minutes.
